Municipal Park
O Carballiño Municipal Park
This large park, with 32 hectares of woodland, squares and walking paths, occupies the left bank of the river Arenteiro, stretching from the Gran Balneario (Great Spa) to the Fish Farm.
Its origins date back to 1928. It was designed by the Ourense architect Conde Fidalgo, who also drew up the plans. The park hosts the famous Octopus Fair on the second Sunday of August, one of the quintessential gastronomic and cultural attractions of this town.
