Lovers’ Rock
Arenteiro Ethnographic Park
A group of large granite rocks, surmounted by one that remains at its base, a symbol of the rain and wind. The site is linked to a Paleolithic settlement, as remains were found in the surrounding area, which the first inhabitants of these lands may have considered a magical-religious monument.
In 1996, the remains of an ancient hermitage were also discovered. It is located near the banks of the River Arenteiro, making it one of the most picturesque places in O Carballiño.
